While there is no "typical" ceremony - each one is unique - a wedding or commitment ceremony usually has a flow, with familiar elements. There are a great many of these elements for you to look at and choose from, as part of creating a ceremony that truly expresses you, and your love.Many I have included in a large Vows & Ceremonies binder available (for loan) with many pages of sample vows, ring exchanges, and readings.Also included are many elements drawn from a variety of religious and spiritual traditions.A CD is in production with the same resources. Baby Ceremonies

Congratulations on the birth of your baby! I devote time getting to know you and your family, asking many questions to create a baby ceremony that reflects your needs, beliefs, values and the specialness that is your child. In this way, the words and the rituals of your ceremony will remain alive within you always. Your baby ceremony is inclusive and participatory, and may honor and include all significant family members (parents, grandparents, siblings and friends, godparents and guideparents). Traditional aspects of baptisms and baby namings are celebrated in a universal context. You may choose traditional religious readings or non-religious readings from poetry or literature. Creative alternatives and solutions are offered and welcomed.

Bless, anoint, or welcome your child into this world with a deeply moving, magical, creative ceremony which celebrates the gift, the power that is a child!

Home - Office - Land Blessings

Moving into a new home, office or land represents a completely new beginning in your life. You know deeply that this is the place where your dreams can come true -- where what you desire to create for yourself and others will unfold. So of course you want the energy there to be fresh and uniquely yours - a setting that will reflect the best of you and support your new life.

This new "place of dreams" deserves a Blessing, to assist you in realizing its promise!
I will work with you and others who will live, work or play there to clear out any old energy from past events or people that is out of harmony with you or your intentions. We will replace it with positive, healthy, light energy - in every room, as well as outdoor property surrounding it. And, if this land, home or office is completely new, it will benefit from the good foundation a Blessing will provide

Blessings like this have been part of every culture since the beginning of time. They infuse this major life event with a sense of purpose, clarity and your intended outcomes.
I will consult with you for any preferences you may have, and to include your own inspirations in the ceremony.

Examples of what we might include:

• Lighting a special candle for each room, to create a sense of peace, balance and    harmony throughout the home, workplace or land.
• Carrying a stalk of burning sage throughout the space, to purify and renew it.
• Striking a musical triangle as we walk through the space, to infuse it with the    harmony that music brings.
• And more!

Since blessings of this sort are found in all spiritual and religious beliefs, we will have much to choose from. I will encourage you to draw on your own creativity, for after all, this is YOUR space! The space we inhabit daily mirrors who we are, and can reflect our interests and values. In this way, a Blessing honors the place and creates a sacred space for the people living or working there.

It is said that when someone makes their transition from this world to the next, God sends down two angels. One to escourt the soul up to heaven. The other remains with those who greive.

A Memorial Service is a tribute to a human being's life and honors the life lived by your departed loved one. Together we select prayers, readings, music and rituals to honor them.  Spirituality is emphasized, not religious dogma. All readings and rituals are offered in a universal context. Creative alternatives and solutions are offered and welcomed. Begin or continue a process of healing the heart and mind - with love, honor and celebration of your loved one's new beginning.
