Our counseling prior to your ceremony will ensure that your marriage or commitment starts with openness, clarity and honesty - the best possible ingredients in a partnership -- in all areas most important to you. Often, your issues are exactly those that cause the greatest difficulty for other married or committed couples.

Elena Chvany and Isaiah Landers together bring more than 40 years of wise counsel to individuals and couples. We assist couples in making their new partnership their most important means for "conscious evolution" - where you both use the relationship to become even more than you were before! Our sessions with you offer and support this growth. We are committed to assisting you to enter your marriage or commitment on the strongest possible foundation, so as to endure through your years together.

Couples

Here are some of the questions we may address with you -

How do you feel - honestly! - about how well you communicate with each other?
Most people have a lot of frustration and confusion about communication. They know they need to talk about difficult issues - but how? "Do I have the confidence and skill to navigate all the way through the rough spots to honest and loving resolution?"

How comfortable are you with talking about money?
Counselors find that couples disagree (argue) more about money than any other topic. Getting clear about money issues before your wedding or commitment ceremony is one of the best things you can do for yourself and for your relationship.

How are you with "button-pushing" issues?
Do you know what pushes yours? Do you know why? Are you willing and able to take responsibility for your reactions? How are you doing right now with him/her when an issue flares up? When issues arise, you may start to feel, think and act from their influence, often without realizing it. Your time with us can help you recognize and take responsibility for those issues and learn what to do to bring peaceful resolution.

How clear are you about your vision, requirements and needs?
• Vision: What you want for your life and your relationship.
• Requirements: What must be in place in the relationship, or it will not work for you.
• Needs: What you expect in your life, on both practical and emotional levels, to feel comfortable and safe.

Of course these are not all the questions that come up in couples counseling!
You may have others, equally important to YOU. We are here to support you in finding your own wise and health-bringing answers, so your adventure as a couple begins in confidence and joy.

Individuals

You may have issues in your life - from childhood, past relationships, or belief systems - that really are about you! These are the issues most likely to come up in the fertile ground of an intimate relationship. Knowing this, you may see the wisdom of clearing the effects of past experience, allowing for the fresh start you desire.

Areas that may be addressed include
• Your vision for yourself and your life - values and life purpose
• Your relationship history and patterns
• Your requirements, needs and wants - what will fulfill you to the highest

How we work

We work in a variety of ways. In-person, by e-mail or phone. Counseling by phone or in person is usually 60 to 90 minutes. The cost is $125 an hour. We also offer a package of counseling sessions at $500 an hour for 5 sessions. Suggested introductory phone session of 15 minutes is FREE, to help you and us to identify the key issues and the likely amount of time required to resolve them.

We also offer 4- to 5-day Accelerated Transformation®  Retreats, for those who desire to go deeper - including relationship issues and past experiences, and including also deep attention to your life purposes and how to attain the freedom you desire.

About Us

My husband Isaiah and I have worked many years with people coming from all over the world - Europe, Japan, Russia and Canada - and from all parts of the United States. They have received new insights on their lives, and new skills with which to navigate from this point forward to attain their greatest sense of fulfillment.

Rev. Isaiah: Is an ordained minister, has been a family, marriage and spiritual counselor for 35 years. He has been active also in youth leadership programs, and has been leading spiritually oriented workshop, seminars, intensives and personal retreats since 1987.
